You know, I feel sorry for Jean. She’s got the worst rap /ever/. That whole ‘Jean dies and comes back all the time’? BULLSHIT. I think Mags has had more Resurrection than Jean has.
NOt counting the bazillion or so ‘deaths’ she had during that miniseries; she’s really only a couple of times. I think, to be honest, she’s actually only died ONCE.
She technically didn’t die during the re-entry that prompted the change to Phoenix. It wasn’t HER that died when ‘she’ committed Suicide on the moon. She is not Madelyne Pryor, so that doesn’t count either. Removing clones, shape shifters, fake outs, etc.
Jean only died at the hands of Magneto (Xorneto? That entire mess confuses me), during Grant Morrison’s run.

I always hated that Jean not only died in Morrison’s X-men, but lost her husband on top of that to Emma. It was such a kick in the face for the poor woman. But yeah, Jean hasn’t come back to life THAT MUCH.
